Cloven Tongues Of Fire

"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." - Acts 2:1-4 KJV

How do I receive?

Hebrews 11:1-6 (NIV) “… Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.  By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

How do I receive Salvation?

  1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner, unworthy of God’s love and acceptance and unable to reconcile yourself to God on your own behalf.

  1. Ask God to save you.

  1. Receive the free gift of salvation that God has offered to all mankind by believing that God, out of love, made a way for mankind to be reconciled to Him by becoming a man, living a perfect life, taking the punishment that we deserve upon himself, defeating sin (that which separates us from God) by dying on the cross and rising again from the grave after three days defeating death all on our behalf.

  1. Trust completely in the love of God expressed to all mankind through the finished work of Jesus
